Man- the dominant being of the universe now thinks of himself with inconsequential conceit that he stands on the peak of the modern civilization. He judges himself to be the topmost position of universal success in his thousand years of existence in the face of the earth. He looks back on his past with pity and compassion. Now he intentionally uses the flash of lightening of the sky, yields crops altering the current of river, creates electricity hindering river current, and has also made a journey to the thousand million far moons. That is not the last; no need to say that, it is just a matter of time for him to ramble planet to planet.
Who will awake him saying that the civilization with which you feels pride, has not only given you the above development but a little more also. It has created nuclear bomb to demolish you, it also has killed several millions of Children, women, youths, old men, as well as has killed 11 billion of populace through two world wars just in between a few years.
World populace is aggrieved today. Behind the showdown of the false pride of success, he is actually bankrupt and bewildered. The daily newspaper is the mirror of global unrest, injustice, iniquity, turmoil, anarchy, bloodshed and misery or distress. It is full of heart rending news of war, collective and political clash, personal collision and bloodshed. The statistics of murder, robbery, rape, bombing, and kidnapping increases rapidly in almost all of the country of the world, especially in those countries who has adapted the materialistic civilization. Even the innocent, sinless babies are not let to go from the man alike Satan’s paw. Man is now arrives not only at the apex of the science but all types of injustice too.
Why human soul wails today to save and protect him? Why the wisdom and technological advancement is used to bring men to the bottomless depth of deterioration rather than the development of humanity? If a comparison carries out between any special moment of past with present, it will be clear before him that as a man how much he has downfallen. No need to analyze more, just take the instance of killing. Statistics says the number of people died in the last ten centuries will be less than the fraction of the people killed just in 20
th century. Not only in the field of killing but every facets of crime has now broken its previous record. Man shudders thinking with the combined result of the terrible downfall of the human soul and the destructive power of the technology of science.
The civilization with which now man shows his pride, is it really a civilization? My view is, positively not. It is not a civilization at all. It is nothing else but just a soulless, conscienceless mechanical advancement.
Such improvement which has similarly pulled the humanity of man to a bottomless depth beside its advancement can never be declared as a civilization.
Man has taken this mechanical progress far away that meanwhile the nuclear weapons he had accumulated, expert opinion is, it is not impossible to devastate the whole world. There have no scope to think that, the devastation not bring to existence due to the civilization, the delicate sentiment on men, women, children, and animals but only due to horror. Horror is to finish himself as well, with his enemy. America knows very well, while his intercontinental ballistic missile (I.C.B.M.) will have been reached to Russia to obliterate Soviet Union, smashes its populace, the return I.C.B.M. of Russia will passes away half of the path towards America and surely the consequence will be the same too.
Vice versa, the same thing is true for Russia. Not due to humanity, sympathy, honor on justice, hostility to injustice, and not even the feelings of how many innocent people will be killed but only due to fear both are dissuaded. Evidence is the event of Nagasaki and Hiroshima. Only due to the fear of killed himself, man dissuaded to use the devastating weapons. The civilized name of it is “DETERENT”. Just when Russia or America will be assured on defending the hit of his opponent, he will assault. The feeling of right or wrong, affection, Kindness, sympathy or compassion can’t delay them. It is now open secret that the strength of opponent has deterred each other from the disastrous war among the states of the world. Just a little earlier the ex-president of America has said it is not DETERENT but the military might is the biggest guaranty of peace on earth. That simply means to say, till America capable to finish his attacker, she is secured. Same thing is true for Russia also.
Both stand aiming to each other. But could not been pulling the trigger, due to be killed himself with his enemy. If anybody tries to entitle the present populace as a civilization existed only on the basis of fear, I am not agreeing with him.
