The seven-day 'Chashirhat Trade Fair' started on January 26 at 3 PM at Nurul Haque High School grounds in Sonaimuri Upazila, Noakhali, Bangladesh. Emam Hossain Mohammad Salim inaugurated the event. The fair, now a local festival, drew a massive crowd on the first day, featuring traditional products from various districts, organic items, toys, fashion, furniture, and a variety of Bengali village pithas. The evening cultural program includes songs, poetry, and drama. Emphasizing safety and the environment, Mr. Mahiuddin, the project director, expressed the commitment to providing quality products directly to the people, extending the fair to a week due to public demand.
