Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim is a popular Islamic scholar in Bangladesh and a key figure in the Hezbut Tawheed movement. His statements have generated widespread discussion among Bengali-speaking people, and currently, There is no end of discussion about him in Bangladesh. Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim has delivered speeches at numerous gatherings and meetings. He expresses that all humans are of one race. Physical differences such as language, food habits, and skin color are due to geographical reasons, but they do not determine human dignity. In the eyes of Allah, the dignity of a person depends on their actions. Referring to the Quran, he states that Allah created Adam and his wife at first. Therefore, we are members of one family, and we are the children of the same parents. Although we identify ourselves with names like Bengali, Indian, English, Chinese, etc., we should remember that we are all brothers and sisters. Currently, terrorism, and extremism are spreading in the name of Islam worldwide. Various countries are failing to combat terrorism effectively. On this matter, Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim says, "governments of different countries are trying to eliminate terrorism through the use of military force. However, it is not possible to eradicate terrorism merely by using force or killing militants. Therefore, alongside the use of force, it is essential to Present the counter-narrative against terrorism." A few years ago, when Bangladesh was under the threat of extremism, Mr. Selim initiated extensive anti-extremism campaigns throughout the country. He organized more than two hundred thousand gatherings, rallies and human chains against extremism. Similarly, in Bangladesh, Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim has organized numerous interfaith events with the aim of fostering religious harmony. People from Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, and other communities have participated in these events, sharing their opinions and fostering mutual understanding. However, one of Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim's notable initiatives is his unparalleled effort for the rights of Muslim women. In countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, women are often deprived of almost all religious rights. Even going outside their homes is considered forbidden in Islamic law. However, Mr. Hosain Mohammad Salim challenges this notion. He uses references from the Quran, Hadith, and history to prove that women have a vital role in national and social aspects and that their participation in activities is not forbidden by Islamic law. In his gatherings, women actively participate, and in Hezbut Tawheed mosques, both men and women pray together.
