He is Hossain Mohammad Salim, Imam of Hezbut Tawheed.

Allah's Messenger (PBUH) came to the deserts of Arabia, but Islam is not solely for Arabia. Its principles and way of life are designed to be universal, recognizing the cultural diversity shaped by geographical environments, languages, economies, and other factors. Islam does not impose Arab dress, language, or culture on people of other regions. Instead, the Holy Qur'an provides one principle: avoid obscenity, falsehood, and content that promotes actions contrary to Allah's commands (Surah A'raf 33).

However, the prevalent belief in our society is that music, painting, and similar arts are haram. In this country, militant groups have bombed the Pahela Baishakh celebration, and terrorists from Qaumi Madrasa have burned Alauddin Ali's music hall. Many artists and actors have renounced their professions, becoming overly 'pious' in their later years, considering earnings from art as haram. There is a lack of clear understanding about what is halal and what is haram. Hezbut Tawheed is presenting numerous documents from the Holy Qur'an, Hadith, and the life of Rasulullah to refute these societal misconceptions, showing which cultural practices are halal and which are haram.

The Imam of Hezbut Tawheed asserts that human society is currently in a severe crisis. To overcome this crisis, people must unite against all forms of injustice. Music, art, and culture can play a crucial role in awakening and transforming society.

Hezbut Tawheed is organizing discussion meetings, seminars, and cultural programs nationwide under the theme of 'Renaissance through Cultural Practice'. Many esteemed writers, artists, dramatists, film actors, intellectuals, and cultural figures have joined and expressed their solidarity with Hezbut Tawheed.
