Festive and Grand Event Held at ICCB

Dhaka, 26 January 2026: Hezbut Tawheed’s 31st Founding Anniversary was observed today in a festive and magnificent atmosphere in the capital. The program was organized by Hezbut Tawheed at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) this Monday (26 January 2026) starting at 9:30 AM. Amirs (leaders) of the organization from across the country were present at the occasion.

The chief guest was the supreme leader of Hezbut Tawheed, Imam Hossain Mohammad Selim. The session was presided over by the Central General Secretary, Md. Nizam Uddin.

In his keynote address, the Imam of Hezbut Tawheed stated:

“The political parties are currently making various promises, but once in power, it will never be possible for them to implement those promises. This is because no man-made system can ever establish true justice, peace, and equity in society. Highlighting the futility of the prevailing system, he called upon the entire nation to unite in favor of the divinely revealed way of life given by Allah.”

The program began at 9:30 AM with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. This was followed by the hoisting of the national flag accompanied by the national anthem and the organizational flag accompanied by the organizational song. After saluting the flag to the tune of the organizational song, Joint General Secretary S.M. Shamsul Huda explained the significance and written interpretation of the organizational flag.

Congratulatory remarks were delivered by Central Joint General Secretary Dr. Mahbub Alam Mahfuz. Special guests who also spoke included Advisor Khadija Khatun, Central Joint General Secretary Mashior Rahman, and others.

In the second session, brief addresses were given by central leaders, followed by a cultural program, collective oath recitation, greetings from family members of martyrs, a quiz competition, raffle draw, question-and-answer session, and screening of a documentary on the life of farmers and the family heritage of Imamuz Zaman.

At one point, the Imam of Hezbut Tawheed presented a 10-point demand to the government, which includes:

  • Ensuring the life, property, and constitutional rights of Hezbut Tawheed leaders and workers
  • Maintaining professional conduct by the administration
  • Guaranteeing the rightful right to hold meetings and assemblies

Additionally, he demanded swift legal action against those inciting through religious gatherings or spreading rumors online, and cooperation from the government in ideological campaigns to combat extremism.

The entire event was marked by immense enthusiasm, discipline, and a spirit of unity among thousands of participants from all over the country. The program concluded with renewed commitment to continue the struggle for establishing the true Deen and justice in society, InshaAllah.

Hezbut Tawheed remains steadfast in its mission of propagating the correct teachings of Islam, promoting peace and communal harmony, and opposing all forms of extremism, terrorism, and injustice. May Allah grant success to this noble endeavor.
